Ruby Rogel, mezzo-soprano

My name is Ruby, and I am a classically trained vocalist with over ten  years of private voice study.  I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Bucknell University with a focus in vocal performance.  I’ve been singing in church and community settings for over twenty years, which has given me a deep appreciation for the emotional and spiritual significance of music.  I also have close to twenty years of experience playing the flute and handbells.

I am available to sing at wedding ceremonies, funerals, and other special occasions.  I’ve developed a repertoire of sacred and secular vocal music that reflects a range of styles and traditions, and I’m always open to learning new pieces that hold special meaning for you or your family.  I can perform in a variety of settings, including churches, funeral homes, graveside services, and other venues.

In addition to vocal selections, I can offer flute music to enhance your ceremony or event with a gentle, elegant touch. Flute pieces can be performed as preludes, interludes, or reflective moments in a service.

My goal is to offer comfort during times of remembrance and to add joy during times of celebration.  It is an honor to provide music for some of life's most meaningful moments.
